Floor thickness detector is a portable instrument that is suitable for non-destructive testing methods to measure the thickness of concrete or other non-magnetic media. During use, the transmitting probe and the receiving probe are placed on the two opposite test surfaces of the floor respectively, and they respectively emit and receive electromagnetic signals. The instrument calculates the floor thickness value based on the received signal strength.
